Please take a look at David Goodsell’s illustrations of the enzymes responsible for breaking down glucose at http://pdb101.rcsb.org/motm/50 (Links to an external site.).
Read through all the articles for a general overview. Then randomly choose one enzyme from the ten discussed to read about in greater detail. (I leave it to you how you do this, but I’d like it to be RANDOM. For example, ask someone else for a random number, or look at a digital clock, and just use the last digit.) For your selected enzyme, read David Goodsell’s article thoroughly.
Assignment Criteria:
1. Find at least two external scientific articles that focus on the enzyme you randomly picked, and read them.
2. Post a brief summary of what you learned from the Goodsell article, and what new things you learned from the articles you read. Remember to reference all THREE articles!
