research and policy intersect in criminal justice. For the paper, MSCJ general track students will describe
a current issue in one of the core areas of criminal justice (i.e., policing, courts, or corrections), Crime
Analytics track students will describe a current issue in one crime analytics. All students will then
develop hypotheses/research questions to be tested based on your chosen topic, identify and collect data
to answer those hypotheses/research questions, analyze the data, develop a policy/program response to the
issue given the findings, and develop a strategic plan to implement that policy/program. All papers must
be in APA format (this includes style of title page, references, in-text citations, and content of major
sections. Papers must be in Times New Roman 12-point font, and double spaced.
