Writing Topic: What makes The Odyssey so important to human communities? After 2,700 years, why do we continue to read/listen to it? In developing your answer, be sure to reference each of the three worlds of our class’ reading heuristic: the world behind the text, the world within the text, and the world in front of the text. Tabloid sources and blogs are almost always inappropriate to college-level research, as are most tertiary sources, including Wikipedia.
