“Can Humans Catch Coronovirus from their Pets?”

We learned this week that infectious disease is a very serious threat to domesticated farm animals/livestock, and thus, our food supply and national security. We also learned from the article, “Can Humans Catch Coronovirus from their Pets?” that infectious disease can also impact our furry companions. If medical research found that dogs play a role in the spread of the Coronovirus among humans, how might Emergency Managers respond? Please develop an animal management strategy that addresses this hypothetical threat. Please be sure to identify the mission area your animal management strategy supports.
