describing why and how you chose your research question(s), hypothesis(es), variable(s), and operational definition(s).
housing for the teenager who ages out of foster care is my final assignment for this class. So base this assignment around clearly describing why and how you chose your research question(s), hypothesis(es), variable(s), and operational definition(s). Note: it is perfectly acceptable to only have one research question, hypothesis, etc. In some cases, you may have more than one. As a general rule, the more simple, straightforward, and focused you are with your approach to the research study, the easier it will be to implement (and write-up).
Use the following headers:
Contribution to the Current Body of Knowledge
Your descriiption should flow in part from your literature review. It also should show the logic of your own thinking about your research topic, as well as how your study has the potential for building upon the prior literature. For example, if none of the previous studies supporting intervention to prevent child abuse included Mexican Americans in their sample, you could refer to those studies (which were in your literature review), and the absence of Mexican Americans in their samples, as the rationale for your potential contribution to the current body of knowledge.
Make Sure to Use APA Format
Format your paper using APA style guidelines. Make sure to provide appropriate citations, references, headers, and formatting. The page length should be enough to address and describe each section of the paper. Use 12 point font for the main body of the paper.
You will receive the following points based on the clarity of your thought process and writing: up to 10 points for spelling, grammar, mechanics, and use of APA style; up to 5 points for each of the five sections of the paper.
