Pick ONE theme, question or topic to address in your essay. You can also relate your analysis of the readings to your own working lives, to your own learning processes at work or in the workplace. Your essay should not be a descriiption of the article/s but, rather, should be critically engaged reflections, in your own words, on why the readings you are reflecting on are important to the main themes of the course, or why you might agree or disagree with some of the points made, and how they relate (or not) to your own learning at work. Your essay will be evaluated on the clarity of your writing, grasp of the material; ability to ask critical questions of material and to make reasoned projections as to the value of concepts/theory presented; ability to assess (where applicable) methodological dimensions of a research article; analysis of how the readings raise issues reflected in your own life and the lives of those around you; clarity of presentation (structuring of written work, copy-editing, grammar, etc.).
