Strategy
First Half/Paragraph:
-talk about how I rode across the country and realized that we as a society has left behind people with disabilities and that we should give them more “social interaction”
-more details about the bike trip is written in another essay uploaded in the files
Second Half/Paragraph:
-My company has a “CORE Engineering” rotational program for all new grads and younger hires and socials are frequently held for events such as bbq’s, escape rooms, tie-dye shirt making, trivia nights, etc.
-After covid-19, I organized a zoom social birthday game night for “Big Cat” aka Jamie and his friends of all abilities from the Arc of Nebraska (I met them on my bike ride though Nebraska).
-People had a lot of fun and a lot of positive feedback given by both sides, people want to do it again.
