What is the tone or the mood of the story?

1)Setting: Tell the time and place in which the story happen
2)Main Characters: Write a brief of each character
3)Give a brief description of the plot. Just tell the main idea. Do not give every detail.
4)What is the conflict of the story?
5)How was the problem resolved, or what is the resolution? Tell how the characters’ problem is solved.
6)Tell the author’s purpose. Is the story written:
to entertain an audience
to inform the audience of facts
to persuade the audience to think the way the author does about the subject
7)What is the tone or the mood of the story? The conflict is the problem of the story.
8) Identify a Christian characteristic that occurs in the book by either the main characters’ or supporting characters. Here are a few examples:
Love is taking the initiative to build up and meet the needs of others without expecting anything in return (John 13:1, 15:13)
Joy is an expression of delight and real, authentic happiness from and with harmony with God and others (Proverb 15:13, John 15:11
Peace is allowing tranquility to be our tone and to control our equanimity ( Matthew 5:9, Colossians 3:15
Kindness is practicing benevolence and a loving attitude towards Ephesians 4:32
Self Control will allow us to have discipline, and restraint with obedience to God and others 1 Thess 5:22
Faithfulness is adhering firmly and devotedly, as to a person, cause, or idea: loyal Matthew 17:19;25:21
