this assignment is the first Lesson Plan that concentrates on your practicing the development of Set, Explanation, and Closure as appropriate for a specific Instructional Objective.
Be sure to study the presentation in Module 4 carefully before you develop your lesson plan. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have specific questions before you submit your work — I will be happy to clarify.

Refer to the sample lesson plan as a a guide or frame of reference for what is expected of you for this assignment. Your Content Outline will not necessarily be of equal scope.
Please note that the sample lesson plan is for an elective class. Your lesson plan must be developed for a core content area only (Math, Science, Language Arts, or Social Science), for a grade level between grade 5 and grade 12 only. Be sure to choose a concept for your explanation — a key to success is the development of an effective IO and a detailed Content Outline (see sample plan).
