Methods of biometric authentication in operating systems
Topic: Methods of biometric authentication in operating systems
Requirements:
– Please use the Chicago citation style
– References: at the end there must be around as much (different kind) references as written pages. And it is important to use as much as possible first level references
– The chosen topic of the term paper is to be related to the practice and presented
in its own section (at least 25% of the term paper = 1.000 word) – Chapter 4.
Information provided by the lecturer on the topic:
Biometrics is the art of measuring life. Biometric procedures enable personal identification via speech recognition, recognition of hand geometry, face, fingerprint, iris or retina, which could already be admired years ago in “James Bond” films. Today, these methods are integrated and usable in real operating systems. The seminar paper is intended to give an overview of the procedures and their implementation techniques.
