Write a one-to-two-page letter communicating bad news.
Learning Goal: I’m working on a business writing question and need guidance to help me learn.Scenario: Due to ongoing uncertainty related to the omicron variant, a non-profit organization, The Young Entrepreneurs Association, has decided to expand its annual conference from a physical destination to a hybrid mode in which some panels and events will be conducted in person while others are held virtually via Zoom. The conference is a major revenue center for the organization. The shift to a virtual format will reduce health risks but will complicate revenues generated by fewer people attending the conference live. Several stakeholders must be informed of this change, including members and vendors. Vendors include hotels, airlines, a convention hall, caterers, event planners, a public relations firm, and entertainers. Some, but not all, of the vendors will still be needed to mount the hybrid event. There are two parts to this assignment.Part 1: Write a one-to-two-page letter communicating bad news. The audience will be stakeholders: either the organization’s members or vendors. Format the letter in block style. The attach file below is a sample letter
