Consumers & Providers as Stakeholders
This week we will consider the major stakeholders in the health care system, starting with what’s often called the “consumers” of health care—patients, their friends, family, and extended social network. We will also consider the system from the provider’s perspective. We will read about the needs of nurses, physicians, researchers, and the regulators and governmental officials who influence how the system operates.
