Delegation is CRUCIAL for an RN to understand as it will be you who will be ultimately responsible for the patients under your care no matter what. After reviewing the article above, locate the California Board of Nursing rules as to what a LVN and an UAP (unlicensed assistive personnel) are able to do under their practice guidelines. You will need to know this when you are an RN and in charge. (Plus you need to know this for NCLEX).
